Tongue Scraping Benefits

One of my favourite non-negotiable daily practices. Tongue scraping is an Ayurvedic ritual that I can't live without. The metal utensil works by removing toxins, bacteria, and dead cells that build up overnight while you sleep and prevents them from being reabsorbed into the body.
Since the tongue and oral cavity are gateways between your mind-body system and the outside environment, maintaining the health of this vital organ is critical to general well-being.

How To
Use upon rising and on an empty stomach. Hold the two ends of the tongue cleaner in both hands
Begin with the curved part at the back of your tongue and gently scrape forward
Repeat seven times and rinse in between each scrape
Clean the stainless steel scraper by washing it with warm water and natural soap
Dry and put away for the next use
