In this Start-Up Program, we tackle the 4 pillars of business to get your idea off the ground.

    Mindset: Uncover your passions, purpose, and core values.
    Vehicle: Define your business type, lifestyle goals, and branding.
    Operations: Improve business strategies, set high standards, build a strong support network, and optimize HR and tech tools.
    Sales and Marketing: Develop a business growth plan, manage cash flow, and track key performance indicators.

Whether you’re building a legacy brand or want to design a business you want to sell, you have to build it on a proper foundation.

What are the common themes in your life? What do you continue to come back to? I have always been a helper and every career I have had, from therapist to business owner, soccer player to soccer coach, has been to help teach, train, and serve others. We explore what themes you have throughout your life to determine what drives you forward.

Mindset 1: What is your passion?

What drives you? What impact would you like to have on your family? Friends? Community? World? We all need to have a purpose driven life in order to find fulfillment -- We will explore your reasons why you want to build a business or change your life trajectory.

Miondset 2: What is your Purpose?

By combining your passion and your purpose, and outlining your core values (i.e. "Don't lie, cheat or steal is one of mine), you will develop your personal mission statement and uncover your North Star -- what do you want to be known for? What legacy do you want to leave?

Mindset 3: Define your Core Values/Mission

Do you want to be a solopreneur? Do you want to have employees? Is it a product or a service? Is it online or in person? What will your product or service provide to others? What problem will it solve?

"Vehicle" type 1: What type of business do you want to create?

Do you want to become a millionaire? Do you want a brick and mortar or do you want to be remote? Do you want to be a digital nomad or stay close to your community? What are your non-negotiables? 

"Vehicle" Type 2: What Lifestyle Do You Want to Have?

Your Brand is what you are known for. It's the basis of who you are and what you want to be remembered for. Logo concepts, tag lines, colors, company name, business searches, entity formation and the like all begins here.

"Vehicle" Type 3: Define your Brand

Now that you have your vision and your vehicle outlined, it's time to set the stage for a solid foundation. Business Plan and strategy development happen here where actionable steps will be outlined, templates for your Operations Manual will be provided. We will be reviewing the "behind the scenes" requirements for your type of business: contracts, website, legal etc.

Operations 1: The foundation

Every business requires experts: You will identify people who will become your primary "go to" for many aspects of your company: Attorney for writing contracts, understanding entity formation, and possible legal requirements to register you for your local, state, federal needs; CPA for all things tax and proper filings; Banking--ensuring you have separate bank accounts for business vs. personal and you can provide the documents necessary to do so; Financial Advisor--wealth building and financial safety to protect you against possible losses

Operations 2: Define your "Board of Directors"

Document, Document, Document: Ask yourself, "could my business run without me?" -- we always begin with the end in mind. The vision you have for a successful company needs to be documented with not only the basics (mission, values, strategy) but also all of the policies, procedures, job descriptions, handbooks, and training modules. You will begin to create this working document for your Operations Manual aka Business Bible -- the information necessary for someone else to run your company without you.

Operations 3: Your Business Bible

We have the foundation set, you are ready to beta test your product or service with free offerings, product testers, give aways etc. "Beta now, better later"

Sales and Marketing 1: Beta Testing

Analyze what strategies are working. Have you found what clients you enjoy working with? What types of people are coming to you for your product or service? What do you dislike? How are your sales skills? What are your blindspots, struggles? What tools would help you? What experts could you outsource to if needed? Social media? Payroll? 

Sales and Marketing 2: What is working? What isn't?

Congratulations! Maybe you have sold ONE product or service; maybe you gave away your first month of services for free, but you gained 30 days of market testing and you have a group of folks to ask for honest feedback; But when someone PAYS you for something you have provided, you are officially a business owner. Now what? You look at the feedback, and you continually document and improve your offering. Reinvesting monies back into yourself and your business to get better. You are in the driver's seat and you need to practice daily to continue building your business.
