Speak with Confidence

Confidence speaking with intention. Have such a strong belief in yourself & what you will accomplish in life and how successfull you will be. Speak it to yourself and others around you. Continuously speak it into existence and get serious about it, believe it yourself and you will be unstoppable.

If you ever feel the need to reassess + take a step back to regain your confidence and intentions here are a few tips.

  1. Self-awareness: Understand your strengths, weaknesses, and areas where you lack confidence. Reflect on past experiences that may have affected your confidence levels. Don't be afraid to NOT KNOW something.

  2. Set realistic goals: Break down your goals into smaller, achievable tasks. Success in accomplishing these tasks will gradually build your confidence.

  3. One of my favorites! Challenge negative thoughts: Identify and challenge negative thoughts and self-doubt. Replace them with positive affirmations and realistic self-talk. One tip I heard was for every negative thought, think of at least 3 positive ones.

  4. Celebrate successes: Acknowledge and celebrate your achievements, no matter how small they may seem. This reinforces a positive self-image. Be proud of yourself.

  5. Practice self-compassion: Treat yourself with kindness and understanding, especially during setbacks or failures. Understand that making mistakes is a part of learning and growth.

  6. Seek support: Surround yourself with supportive friends, family members, or mentors who encourage and uplift you. Their encouragement can boost your confidence.

  7. Visualization and positive imagery: Visualize yourself succeeding in various situations. This can help build confidence and reduce anxiety when facing challenges. This was a HUGE factor for me being an athlete. It helped me on & off the field.

  8. Continuous learning: Invest in learning new skills or improving existing ones. The more knowledge and expertise you gain, the more confident you'll become in your abilities. Don't be afraid to try NEW things.

  9. Take action: Actively pursue opportunities that challenge you and push you out of your comfort zone. Each small step forward will contribute to your overall confidence. "Be comfortable being uncomfortable"

  10. Physical well-being: Take care of your physical health through regular exercise, proper nutrition, and adequate rest. A healthy body can positively impact your mental well-being and confidence.

  11. Practice assertiveness: Learn to express your thoughts, opinions, and needs assertively. Setting boundaries and standing up for yourself can boost self-assurance. Speak your mind.

  12. Accept imperfection: Embrace the fact that nobody is perfect, and it's okay to have flaws. Accepting yourself as you are can lead to greater self-confidence. Don't be afraid to fail.

  13. Reflect: Write down your achievements, positive experiences, and moments of self-doubt. Reflecting on these can provide insights into your progress and areas for improvement.

Remember, regaining confidence is a gradual process that requires patience and persistence. Be kind to yourself and celebrate each step forward along the way.

Hope this helps!

with love, Sam
