Drinking water is one of the simplest and most effective things you can do for your health. Whether you're looking to improve your physical performance, boost your energy levels, or just maintain good health, drinking enough water can have a profound impact. Here are just a few of the many benefits of drinking water:

Improves Physical Performance: Drinking enough water is essential for optimal physical performance. When you're dehydrated, your body can't function at its best. Your muscles won't work as well, and you'll tire more easily. Drinking water before and during exercise can help you perform better and avoid dehydration.

Boosts Energy Levels: If you're feeling tired or sluggish, drinking water may be just what you need. Dehydration can cause fatigue, and drinking water can help restore your energy levels. Try drinking a glass of water before reaching for a cup of coffee or energy drink.

Supports Weight Loss: Drinking water can be a useful tool for weight loss. Drinking water with apple cider vinegar or on its own 15 minutes before meals can help you feel full quicker and avoid over-eating. Drinking water throughout the day can also help flush out toxins and promote overall weight loss. I love to start my day with warm water with lemon to detoxify my body as soon as I wake up and activate my digestive system!

Improves Skin Health: Drinking water can help keep your skin healthy and hydrated. When you're dehydrated, your skin can become dry, dull, and more prone to wrinkles. Drinking plenty of water can help improve the texture and appearance of your skin.

Supports Digestion: Water is essential for good digestion. Drinking water can help flush out toxins and waste from your body, promoting good gut health. Drinking water before, and after meals can also help you digest your food more easily.

Boosts Immune System: Drinking water can help boost your immune system. When you're dehydrated, your body is more susceptible to illness and disease. Drinking plenty of water can help keep your immune system strong and prevent illness.

*If you find it difficult to drink enough water, experiment with adding berries, lemon, lime, cucumber, herbs like mint to your water, try sparkling water or herbal teas like chamomille, lavender, ginger and the list goes on!

In conclusion, drinking water is one of the most important and EASY things you can do for your health. So, make sure you're drinking enough water each day to reap the many benefits!

After dealing with my own gut issues, food sensitivities, and mindset obstacles, I was inspired to study holistic health. Although I was always interested in health and wellness growing up as an athlete, I suffered from a severe concussion at 15 and this was a pivotal moment for me in my health journey. I realized the link between all aspects of health, how our body keeps the score, and how our pain, gut problems, and patterns can be traced back to specific moments. I work with clients by looking at all aspects of health (“food off the plate”) as well as nutrition and mindset to find an approach to empower them to take back their health and feel their most confident selves. My coaching method starts by Identifying your "WHY", beliefs, and patterns. Then, we will Reflect on your blocks. Lastly, by working together we will create actionable steps to incorporate into your life, and shortly after, YOU will Become.
