Kelly Clark
I am a military spouse with twenty-five years of work in the fields of education, family advocacy, and resilience training. My graduate research centered on the impacts of mobility on military-connected students.
As a Master Resilience Trainer it is my experience that the individuals and groups that weather challenges with the most positive outcomes are those equipped with the skills and practices related to resilient behaviors: enhanced problem solving skills, awareness of personal strengths, and an ability to communicate clearly with others.
As an educator I noticed a strong correlation between executive function processes and resilience skills - it's all connected!
Development of these skills present an opportunity to handle what life tosses your way in a manner that conserves energy and allows for growth. I particularly enjoy working with individuals and families managing transitions, setting and attaining goals, executive function skills development, and self-discovery of identity and purpose.
