Description
Kundalini represents the powerful coiled energy that lies dormant at the base of the spine. When we connect to this energy and begin to unravel it, we activate our full body + being intertwined. In this 45-minute long Yoga practice, we explore a series of Kriyas (sequences to attain a specific outcome) through dynamic movement and breath alignment. The primary focus in a Kundalini Yoga session is to stimulate circulation and awaken energy in the body, with a specific focus on movement in the spine, from root to crown. The aim is to come out of our comfort zone and out of the mind, so that we can go beyond it, however that resonates with you. Unlike other forms of Yoga, we tend to stay seated in Kundalini, in order to keep the energetic line running up & down the spine smoothly, in order to **feel the difference as we move through the practice. It can be quite a potent practice, so ends with a 10-minute integration in Savasana.
