  1. Understanding Mindset Mindset is more than just a collection of thoughts. Mindset is a set of beliefs that shape how you perceive yourself and the world. Your mindset influences how you think, feel and behave. Your mindset impacts your success or what you might perceive as failure.

In this blog, I will discuss the two common mindsets ... the Fixed Mindset and the Growth Mindset.

Fixed Mindset: With this mindset you believe that your abilities are fixed, meaning they cannot be changed. You might think that intelligence, talents and abilities lead to success, and effort is pointless.

Growth Mindset: In contrast, a growth mindset acknowledges that intelligence, talents and abilities can be developed over time, through effort and persistence. A growth mindset encourages continuous learning and resilience.

  1. The Impact of Mindset on Behaviour

Your thoughts create your emotions/feelings which have an impact on your behaviour and your actions. In essence, your mindset influences your outcomes, even if you are not consciously aware of it or not. Consider the following:

Limiting Potential: A fixed mindset restricts your capacity for learning and growth.

Liberating Potential: A growth mindset empowers you to reach your full potential.

  1. Upgrading Your Mindset As a Certified Holistic Wellness Coach, I guide you toward a success-oriented mindset: Let's explore the steps:

Self-Awareness: I help you recognize your existing mindset patterns.

Challenge Beliefs: I will question your limiting beliefs and encourage you to replace them with empowering ones. This will happen through sessions and plans with powerful questions.

Embrace Growth: After you have gained clarity, you will feel empowered and eager to learn more about yourself and your situation. This is the turning point from a fixed mindset to a growth mindset. Clarity: You get to define your clear goals and visualize achieving them.

Persistence: Persistence is what gets you from where you are to where you want to go.

Adaptability: A growth mindset allows flexibility and adaptation.

Resilience: Bounce back from setbacks with resilience. Failures are learning steps to success.

Achievement: With a growth mindset you will achieve your goals.

Conclusion A growth and success mindset isn’t just about positive thinking; it’s about aligning your thoughts, feelings/emotions and behaviour/actions toward desired outcomes. As a Certified Holistic Wellness Coach, I play a pivotal role in empowering and supporting people to overcome obstacles, embrace growth and achieve their goals.

Remember ... your thoughts create your reality. What you think you become! If you think you can't or think you can, either way you are right!
